Legends

We were born from a cycling legend, Ottavio Bottecchia, the first Italian who won in 1924 the most important race in the world, the Tour deFrance. There are many legends we inspire to, and many of those have made famous our bicycles, climbing on the podium of important competitions, bringing Bottecchia to be recognized as one of the most important Italian brands in the sector. Our bicycles were the protagonists of important victories: the Giro d’Italia in 1966 with Gianni Motta who beat Anquetil who had dominated all races; the unforgettable Giro of 1979 with Saronni ripping the pink jersey to Moser; the World Championship with Rudi Altig in 1966 and the Tour de France in 1989 when Greg LeMond won one of the most exciting edition of the last forty years of the Grande Boucle; the exciting victory in 2010 of Stefano Garzelli at the 16th stage of the Giro, and in the same year the victory at the Tirreno-Adriatico.
