The production technology of the MONOLITH frame allows to have through the particular configuration of the mould, a single true monocoque in total absence of points of junction between the front quadrilateral and the rear wagon. Thanks to the homogeneity of the distribution of carbon fibers over the entire length of the frame, elasticity and reactivity are pushed to the highest levels, while the weight is lightened.
The complete integration of the cables is achieved not only in the frame but also in the handlebar, thanks to the Internal Routing Cables technology. With the clean design of Alanera, maximum cable integration is guaranteed, with an obvious advantage in terms of rigidity and a record-breaking aerodynamics.
The geometry of the frame has been perfected to obtain a short and reactive rear stay, which allows to totally transmit on the rear all the pedaling force without power loss.
With the increased steering by 1 “and 1/2, a 23% increase in stiffness at the front was obtained, with a consequent improvement in riding stability across the front, especially when going downhill at high speeds.
