AREA ZERO-D’AMICO-BOTTECCHIA GOING FOR THE GLORY IN FRANCE

Ancona (AN), 09 June, 2015 – Area Zero-D’Amico-Bottecchia is pursuing its 2015 adventure in France. The Italian continental formation led by team manager Ivan De Paolis will take part in the Ronde de l’Oise from June 11th to the 14th. The short stage race is held in the district of Oise, in Northern France.

It’s going to be four days of intense competition. The stages feature the typically dynamic routes that northern France has to offer, with short climbs that are nevertheless intense. These are stages suited to big breaks and attackers making their moves, but I think there could also be bunch sprint arrivals, perhaps with tight groups of a few riders,” explains sports director Massimo Codol. “In France we are going to line up riders who can be at their best on these types of routes. I think guys like Parrinello, Giorni, Bocchiola and also Ciavatta, who is our captain, could do very well. Plus, for them these four days will be important training to better prepare for the Tour de Slovenie, which we are going to race next week, from June 18th to the 21st.

11-14/06 Ronde de l’Oise (Fra), UCI 2.2
Riders: Giorgio Bocchiola, Paolo Ciavatta, Eduardo Estrada, Silvio Giorni, Iltjan Nika, Antonio Parrinello.
D.s.: Massimo Codol.
