FOURTH PLACE IN FRANCE FOR THE ANDRONI SIDERMEC BOTTECCHIA

Vendrame

The first part of the French trip said well to the Androni Giocattoli Sidermec. On Sunday, Andrea Vendrame finished fourth in the Roue Tourangelle. The race, which finished in Tours, has gone well for the whole Italian champion team. Raffaello Bonusi and then Mattia Frapporti came in first. Finally Vendrame was very good to enter the action of a dozen men who decided the race. Vendrame was behind only to the fast wheels of the French Sarreau (Groupama Fdj), Samuel Dumoulin (Agr2) and Hugo Hofstetter (Cofidis), who finished the podium in the order. The Venetian rider fo the Androni Giocattoli Sidermec preceded Venturini, Chavanel, Paredes and Ladagnous, confirming once again the good attitude for this type of races, rather nervous and difficult to interpret. To complete the good performance of the Androni Giocattoli Sidermec, arrived also the placement in the group sprint, won by Bouhanni, by Manuel Belletti.

Androni Giocattoli Sidermec, before the Roue Tourangelle, last Friday had disputed the Route Adelie. Even in Britan, in the race marked by a five-break away and by Dillier’s victory, Andrea Vendrame had always tried the sprint in the last kilometers, with the group that however had sewed again.

The events in France now for the champions of Italy continue with the Circuit de La Sarthe. In the Loire region they ride until Friday. In the race, for the four stages, there will be Manuel Belletti, Marco Benfatto, Raffaello Bonusi, Mattia Frapporti, Matteo Malucelli and Andrea Vendrame. In the flagship there will be the sporting director Giovanni Ellena. The French away match for the Italian champions, who in the meantime with the other half of the team are still in retreat in Sierra Nevada in Spain, will end on Tuesday 10 April with the Paris-Camembert.
