ANDRONI GIOCATTOLI SIDERMEC PROTAGONIST AGAIN: VENDRAME REACHED BY THE GROUP 3 KM TO THE ARRIVAL, AND 7TH PLACE FOR GAVAZZI

Another great day for the Androni Giocattoli Sidermec in the stage from Agrigento to Santa Ninfa.

At the kilometer zero of  the 153 of the fifth stage, Vendrame attacked: despite the wind, the escape stared with Vendrame  and other two riders. The breakaway lasted more then 150 km and Vendrame reached also to conquer the two intermediate sprint of the day.

20 km to the finishin line, Vendrame attacked again and remained alone to guide the race. 3 km to the arrival the aggressive group reached the first riders.

In the difficult arrival towards Santa Ninfa, Francesco Gavazzi fought with the best and reached the 7th place.
