AN OTHER VICTORY FOR THE ANDRONI SIDERMEC IN VENEZUELA
The second victory has arrived, for the Androni Giocattoli Sidermec at the Vuelta Tachira. EMME 4 SQUADRA cuts again in first position the finish line of the Venezuelan stages race with the Colombian Jhonatan Restrepo. One of the new purchases of the season has surpassed the Venezuelans Salinas and Campos and the partner Kevin Rivera in a narrow and very long sprint. The four had taken advantage in the final and ended with 37” on a first group of pursuers.
The team, led in South America by Gianni Savio and Giampaolo Cheula, after the disappointment of the second stage, repeated the success of Pacioni of the first fraction. Restrepo, 25 years old in November, is at his first professional victory after the all-American title among the under-23s in 2015.
The stage of Rubio has also seen Kevin Rivera shine. The Costa Rican climber was very good in the final like a Restrepo in great shape. Restrepo now occupies the second place in the general classification behind Salinas. Rivera is fourth, Pacioni ninth.
