Last sunday the Bottecchia Factory Team has been capable of fielding its bikers on three fronts: from the Rampichiana to the GF del Muretto, up to the Tre Valli Gist.

Rampichiana with Panariello, Servadei and Feola

Gf del Muretto with Bonetto and Laposse

Tre Valli with Domenico Valerio, Franz Hofer, Mazzola and Piantoni

In Tuscany, in Arezzo, on the 43 km track drawn on Mount Lignano, Giuseppe Panariello took an excellent sixth place overall. “I finished sixth overall, – commented Panariello – but I fought for fourth place all the way. The pace of the race was very high and I am satisfied with this placement. ”

In Liguria in Alassio, in the province of Savona, at the thirteenth edition of the GF del Muretto, Francesco Bonetto performed well, replicating the seventh absolute position last week and Lorenzo Laposse, seventeenth overall. “It was a short race, with many asphalt sections with challenging climbs – underlined Bonetto – I found a good pace especially in the second part of the race.” “In this sport every detail must be taken care of and preparation is very important – added Laposse – I am still looking for the right condition.”

Finally, at the Tre Valli By Gist, with its 43 km and 1290 meters of altitude difference, Domenico Valerio and Gianantonio Mazzola performed well, finishing eighth and fourteenth respectively. Captain Franz Hofer, on the other hand, was delayed by a technical problem and finished 28th.

“Next week – Captain Hofer anticipated – I, Bonetto and Valerio would be engaged in Laissac, France, in a very demanding UCI WorldSeries event with its 95 km and 3800 meters of elevation gain.”
