After the seasonal debut on two sides, the Vuelta Valenciana in Spain, and the GP Costa degli Etruschi, the journey of the Area Zero D’Amico Bottecchia Pro team continues with the Laigueglia Trophy, scheduled for the 14th February.

We started on the right foot. Between Spain and Italy we faced 6 days of competitions with 12 athletes, who all crossed the finished line. We call this “hark work”, and respect for the jersey and the whole team. In Spain we had the opportunity to face with world teams and professional ones. We still have to work hard but the test gave good results, we are really motivated and confident. Fabio Chinello made a good competition with a great sprint, such as Giorgio Bocchiola and Marzo Tizza, who facest athletes as Bouhanni e Boonen. I have been really happy to see all our riders crossing the finishing line, included our junior Pietro Di Genova, who combines school and cycling. Now in Laigueglia I want to see the same combative spirit, above all from the guys from the Valenciana” says the team manager Ivan De Paolis.

Next appointment is the Laigueglia Trophy. The ligure competition, 192 km from Alassio to Villanova d’Albenga, on a technical and demanding route, is another big opportunity to emerge for the Area Zero D’Amico Bottecchia Pro Team!
