STEFANO DAL GRANDE NEW ENTRY BOTTECCHIA FACTORY TEAM

The Bottecchia Factory team will start the new season with important confirmations and an interesting new features, like the entry of Stefano Dal Grande, class of 1990, vicentino athlete of great qualities. He appeared on the scene in 2010 with the ASD Basalts,  and he matured over the years, arriving in 2014 to win the Dolomitika Brenta Bike (65km route) and to rank the 2nd place in the Sella Ronda Hero Classic (60km).

“He spent last season in the Soudal-Parkpre, a Tuscany team, where he played an excellent season with a 5th place at the Marathon Bike Brianza, 2nd place at  Autumn Marathon and D’Annunzio Bike and 3th at the 3T Bike. We are pleased to have him among our ranks and we are sure that will raise the level of the team.” says the team manager.

“I’m glad to be back in Veneto,” explains Dal Grande, “I am ready to face another season with full motivation. My main goals are to do well in major competitions with a particular eye on the Italian Championship Marathon and to the world championship, where I hope to be in the italian team. I won’t be on top in the first part of the season for various problems we had during the winter, but we hope to find the wright form soon. ”

“It ‘a great athlete,” reports Claudio Prando, Stefano mentor, “he has a huge potential and I’m sure he will emerge.” We are waiting the names of the other three components of the team and the technical partner of the team for 2017. In the meantime we would like to greet Efrem Bonelli, who leaves us after 4 wonderful years, but it deserves a separate article.
