BOTTECCHIA FACTORY TEAM: HERE IS THE 2017 MTB TEAM

Saturday 11th March. The 2017 Bottecchia Factory team has been officially presented in the wonderful location of the Thai Si Royal Thai Spa in Lovadina di Spresiano (TV) on the Lake le Bandie.

Also this year the team “made in Bottecchia” is managed by Alessio Finetto, who confirms the great collaboration both with the team and the sponsors.

The team is starting the new season with excellent premises, after a great season of victories and good placements, being one of the most representative mtb team in the national context. The team this year has a group of 5 elite athletes, with the important confirms of Marcello Pavarin and Rafael Visinelli, and three new entry: the marchigiano Marco Ciccanti, the vicentino Stefano Dal Grande and the padovano Marco Quagliardi.

Pavarin, born in 1986, ex road professional, is one important confirm for the third consecutive year. He is going to wear the red jersey of the Bottecchia Factory and he is determined to do his best to stand out.

Visinelli, born in 1985, is the other big confirm for the new season. A 2016 full of successes, like the victories of the 1000 Grobbe Bike, the Su e Zo per i Fossi and the Autumn Trophy.

Ciccanti, born in 1992, is the youngest of the group. The athlete from Ascoli Piceno arrived in 2015 to the mtb after 10 years on the road bike, with the mtb team of Bici Adventure. Althought the few experience, Marco reached to stand out with a good third place at the Etna Marathon.

Dal Grande, born in 1990, is one of the new entry and he is ready to do great things with the team. In 2016 with the Soudal Parkpre Racing team he reached important results and he is ready do to the same with the Bottecchia Factory jersey.

Quagliardi finally, born in 1973, entered this year in the world of the elite athletes after great results as amateur. Great enthusiasm and team spirit for this athlete who will not miss to give great satisfactions to the team.

The official bike of the 2017 team is the new  Ortles 297+, latest creation of the Red Lab laboratory dedicated to the professional products. Monocoque carbon frame with high module and high resistance Toray T700 fiber, with different layers depending on the necessary  strength requested. The rear stay has a lower shape and it is linked to the top tube thanks to  a fork system. This solution gives reactivity and dynamicity to the frame, increasing the stiffness. Sram X01 Eagle 12 speed and Shimano XT brakes for this model.
