IBF 2026: a new collection, many stories and all the energy of those who cycle
A new edition of International Bike Festival concluded last Sunday in Misano, and for Bottecchia, it was a weekend of meetings, novelties, and a great, great desire to cycle. For three days, our space was a meeting point for enthusiasts, cyclists, operators, and curious visitors who came to discover the new 2027 collection: new models, new colours, new setups, and some previews that tell the brand's direction even more clearly and definitively.
We worked on the details, updated the configurations, and built a range with an even more recognizable identity, keeping at its core what has always guided us: designing bicycles capable of interpreting different ways of experiencing the road, off-road, and daily mobility.
The new range, finally live
Seeing a bicycle in a catalogue is one thing. Seeing it live, observing its shapes, details, finishes, and especially talking about it with its designer is another. We brought the new 2027 range to IBF for this very reason: to show it, talk about it, and above all, let people try it. And the response was immediate.

The stand saw a continuous flow of visitors throughout the weekend, with particular attention to the collection's novelties and new configurations. Among the protagonists were TITAN32, the new 32" titanium gravel platform, the new full-suspension muscle bike GARDENA, the updated aluminium and carbon gravel range for touring, the new liveries of EMME 5, and proposals dedicated to mobility and e-bikes.
Many bike tests, because a bike needs to be tried
For us, it's the most concrete way to present a bicycle: letting the road, dirt tracks, and curves speak for it. Hundreds of test rides throughout the weekend with cyclists ready to put the new range through its paces and then return to the stand to share impressions, questions, and feedback. A direct comparison that for Bottecchia represents a fundamental value: listening to those who cycle.
The most requested? Gravel Titan, Overland, EMME5 and BE41 TRAXE.
#PeopleWhoCycle: and you, why do you cycle?
Among the activities that characterized our space, one of the most popular was #PeopleWhoCycle. We asked those who visited our stand to answer a simple question: "And you, why do you cycle?"
This resulted in a wall full of thoughts, motivations, memories, and emotions. Some cycle to feel free, some to feel good, some to discover new places. Some do it for sport, some for passion, or simply because they feel like themselves in the saddle. This was the meaning of #PeopleWhoCycle: to tell the story of the cycling world authentically through the people who live it every day.
Gravel told for real
There was also space for in-depth discussion with the mini-talks Gravel for Real with Simone Venturelli, who took us on a journey into the gravel world, describing it for what it truly is: a way of experiencing cycling made of different roads, exploration, autonomy, and adventure. An opportunity to talk about techniques, experiences, and new interpretations of the gravel world, but above all to discuss what it means today to go beyond asphalt. Simone touched upon three topics.
What do you really carry? A quick recap of what is truly useful and what is not for 2/3 day bikepacking trips. When space is limited, choosing what to bring becomes essential to avoid overloading the bike and making it unstable. Simone told us about his essentials and how he learned to choose between what to bring and what to leave behind.
When everything goes wrong. Some things you only learn after making mistakes, only after experiencing them. Everyone encounters unforeseen events, but what makes the difference is how you react. Travelling on the road teaches you that even from the worst experiences, something beautiful can emerge to take home!

IBF 2026 leaves us with many images, many kilometres covered, new ideas, and above all, the memory of a curious, competent, and passionate public.
