Giro Next Gen, Uc Trevigiani Energiapura Marchiol at the start of the pink race

It's the eve of big opportunities. For Uc Trevigiani Energiapura Marchiol, Sunday, June 14, marks the start of the season's main event: the Giro Next Gen, a stage race dedicated to the world's best Under 23 riders, which will depart from Reggio Calabria and conclude on June 21 in L'Aquila after eight stages, 1088.2 kilometers, and 14,850 meters of elevation gain.

The Treviso team will race with Riccardo Fabbro, Tommaso Cafueri, Marco Zanotto, Matteo Cettolin, Lorenzo Mottes, and Francesco Vecchiutti. A complete and well-rounded roster has been fielded by President Ettore Renato Barzi's team for the start of the pink race, tasked with performing well both in sprint finishes, thanks to the presence of Riccardo Fabbro and Francesco Vecchiutti, and in the more challenging stages, where Matteo Cettolin and Lorenzo Mottes are expected to be key players. Marco Zanotto and Tommaso Cafueri, meanwhile, will have a free hand to make their mark.

"The Giro Next Gen is certainly an excellent showcase," stated President Ettore Renato Barzi. "It's an event we care deeply about and in which we want to do well. The team has prepared optimally for this event, and the athletes will race with great ambitions."
