Wins, World Cup, and international podiums

The month of major classics is proving to be one of the most intense and rewarding for the Bottecchia Factory Team. The first weeks of May have confirmed the team's exceptional form, not only with its captains, but also seeing its young talents finally flourish on the most prestigious stages.

The month began in the best possible way with the "Bike Duo Adventure", a three-day stage race tackled in pairs. The duo formed by captain Stefano Valdrighi and Lorenzo Biagi literally dominated the race, achieving victory in the first two stages and first place in the General Classification.

The experience in the World Cup in Elba (May 9) allowed the team to compete with the world elite of MTB. The team lined up for the Capoliveri Legend Cup, a UCI MTB Marathon World Cup stage. An invaluable experience, the fruits of which were not long in coming.

Proof of the acquired maturity came promptly last weekend at the Costa degli Etruschi Epic, a UCI Marathon event characterized by a high-level international start list. At the end of a very hard-fought race, Stefano Valdrighi only surrendered in the sprint to the Swiss Beeli, securing a significant second place. Behind him, Lorenzo Biagi's tactical masterpiece saw him manage a perfect race, taking home a third place that felt like a victory. To complete the team's success, the young Pelucchini and Braccesi, who were able to process the Elba experience to finish an excellent international race in 6th and 7th place respectively.
